At Kunstadt Sports Shop, we stand behind our premium outdoor gear just like we stand behind you on every mountain descent, cycling trail, or disc golf course. If your equipment doesn’t meet your adventure-ready standards, we’ll make it right.
Our Return & Exchange Promise
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. All items must be:
- In original condition (unused, unworn, with tags attached)
- In original packaging (including all protective materials for skis, bindings, and bike accessories)
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Note about specialized equipment: For safety reasons, Alpine Ski Boots, Cycling Shoes, and Goggles that show signs of wear or have had their hygiene liners removed cannot be returned.
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
- Contact our Gear Support Team within 15 days of delivery at [email protected] with your order number and details about the item you wish to return or exchange.
- Wait for authorization – We’ll respond within 2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions.
- Package your item securely – Use the original packaging if possible. For skis or bikes, ensure all protective materials are in place.
- Ship your return – Send the package to our Washington facility using a trackable shipping method. The return shipping cost is the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.

Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Processing Time: 3-5 business days after receiving the item at our facility
- Refund Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Timeline:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days after processing
- PayPal: 3-5 business days after processing
Note: Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Exchange Process
For size exchanges on apparel or gear:
- Follow the standard return process
- Include a note specifying your desired replacement item
- We’ll ship the new item once we process your return (standard shipping times apply)
For expedited exchanges, you may place a new order and we’ll refund the original purchase upon receiving the return.
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Used Alpine Ski Boots or Cycling Shoes (with removed footbeds or signs of wear)
- Opened packages of Goggles (with removed protective films)
- Personalized or custom-ordered equipment
- Disc golf discs with visible wear or ink markings
Damaged or Defective Equipment
If you receive damaged or defective gear (which is rare with our quality standards):
- Contact us immediately at [email protected]
- Include photos of the damage/defect
- We’ll arrange a prepaid return label if needed
- Expect priority processing for replacement or refund
